About

Since graduating in 2006 with a First Class BA (Hons) in Contemporary Crafts Rebecca has gone on to set up her own business as a jewellery designer-maker.  Through hard work and determination her business has gone from strength to strength; building up a loyal customer base by attending retail shows and supplying craft galleries around the UK.

Rebecca endeavours to produce accessible, wearable jewellery.  Her inspiration is taken from antique jewellery and collectables resulting in designs that echo the decadence of times gone by.  With a more modern approach she creates classic, yet contemporary jewellery designs.

Handpicked gemstones are the main focal point of many of her pieces.  She has a fascination with gemstones, often referred to by herself and colleagues as 'stone fever'.  She particularly has a love for labradorite and rainbow moonstone which have an iridescent play of colours.  These feature strongly in her collections.

The individually set stones are decorated with hand placed tiny granules of metal which create delicate and intricate detail.  The granules combined with an oxidised silver finish is reminiscent of vintage marcasite jewellery which has been a source of inspiration for some time.
